Hundreds took part in the Mud Monkeys Family Fun Run on Saturday June 21 in Auchingarrich near Crieff.
The event took place in the countryside of Auchingarrich Wildlife Park, which had a specially designed muddy obstacle course. Participants were put to the test as they jumped, slid, and powered through the ultimate muddy challenge.
The course tested the endurance of participants who were to crawl through mud pits, conquer slippery slopes and tackle challenging obstacles that would push them to their limits. The challenge was suitable for all levels of fitness including seasoned mud runners and first-time participants. 2K, 4K and 6K family runs took place over the day.
Entry to the Auchingarrich Fun Mud Run was by donation to help raise funds for the park. The generous donations would help continue to organise future events and take care of the animals in their care.
