Police have been out in force patrolling election counts across the country in the wake of recent deadly terror attacks in Manchester and London.
Heightened security has been noted across Courier Country, with officers patrolling polling stations in Dundee, Fife and Perth.
There has been a similarly high presence at counts across wider Scotland and the UK following the terror attacks which rocked the country in the past few weeks, with armed police clocked at many polling stations.
