Dundee boss Paul Hartley has received a major boost ahead of Saturday’s clash with Rangers at Ibrox, with Marcus Haber returning to training on Monday.
The big Canadian striker spent last week away with his national team for a friendly in South Korea.
The 27-year-old played the full 90 minutes for the Canucks on Friday in a game they lost 2-0.
The fixture involved a 10,000-mile round trip for Haber, who has emerged as a key player for the Dark Blues in their recent wins over Hamilton and Motherwell.
Thankfully for Hartley, the player has not suffered any ill-effects from the game or the lengthy journey and he was back training with the squad, including Kevin Gomis.
The French centre-half had to come off against the Steelmen with what looked like a serious shoulder injury but he has responded well to treatment over the international break and should be available for the trip to Ibrox.
Faissal El Bahktaoui has also recovered from a calf strain and is back training but midfielder Mark O’Hara is still working his way back to full fitness after his hernia op.
