Dundee seeking consistency, says Kevin Holt

Consistency is the aim for Dundee, according to defender Kevin Holt.

And if they can find it, a place in the top six of the Premiership is attainable.

The Dark Blues were building momentum until a disappointing defeat at Kilmarnock knocked them back last weekend.

Now they are looking for a win against Ross County on Saturday to get them back on track.

Holt said: “The league is week to week.

“Whoever can string a few results together and go on a wee run can put themselves into the top six.

“You just need to be consistent.”

He added: “We will definitely be looking for three points on Saturday.

“You have to win your home games no matter who you are playing but especially the teams that are round about us in the league.

“The table is so tight. You can’t afford to look a couple of games in advance.

“We just have to focus on each match as it comes and take it a game at a time.

“There are six or seven teams you could throw a blanket over, so we just have to concentrate on winning our next one.”
