Josh Mulligan is set to join Dundee’s Premiership rivals Hibs, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
The renowned Italian journalist gave Mulligan’s switch to the capital the “here we go” treatment as he took time away from Theo Hernandez’s move from AC Milan to Saudi Arabia and Myles Lewis-Skelly’s new Arsenal contract to post about the Dundonian.
Mulligan has been with the Dark Blues since the age of eight and has played 123 times for his boyhood club.
However, his contract has now expired and the versatile midfield man has had a number of options to choose from.

After being linked with a list of Championship clubs down south, it appears Mulligan has opted for Europa League-bound Hibs.
That could see Mulligan make his league debut at Dens Park against his old side as David Gray’s team face Dundee on the Premiership’s opening day.
Romano wrote on social media late on Wednesday night: “Understand Hibernian have agreed deal to sign Scottish talent Josh Mulligan from Dundee FC, here we go!
“Medical tomorrow.”
If a deal goes through, Dundee will be due compensation from the Hibees.
