EXCLUSIVE: Dundee set to secure deal for Brentford’s Tony Yogane

Dundee are set to add Brentford’s Tony Yogane to their ranks.

New head coach Steven Pressley knows all about the 19-year-old winger from his time with the Bees.

Yogane was picked up by the Premier League outfit’s B team in 2022 from Sheffield Wednesday at the age of 16.

He has played regularly for Brentford B but stepped up to first-team level last summer as part of their pre-season preparations, playing five times.

And he made a first-team debut as a sub in a 3-1 League Cup win over Leyton Orient.

A loan switch to Gary Caldwell’s Exeter followed and Yogane played 18 times in League One as The Grecians finished last season in 16th.

Now the speedy winger is set for the second loan of his career, this time at Dens Park.

The youngster was at Gayfield on Saturday as Dundee defeated Arbroath 2-0 in a friendly.

And he is expected to complete his loan move from Brentford early next week.
