Dundee FC has revealed a new special third kit in aid of a leading military charity.

The shirt, which features a distinctive camouflage print on the sleeves, will be worn when the team face Kilmarnock at Dens Park on November 18.

The special design has been commissioned as part of the club’s season-long partnership with SSAFA – the Armed Forces charity.

The shirt will go on sale in the Club shop in limited numbers at 10am tomorrow and will also be available to purchase from the Dundee Direct website.

Over 10% of jersey sales will be added to the eventual total the club raises throughout the year for SSAFA.

In an official release to accompany the launch, Dundee FC said: “Along with wearing the kit and a number of other activities will take place on the day to help build the bond between ourselves and SSAFA.

“We look forward to working alongside SSAFA this season and building a strong relationship to do all that we can for such a fantastic charity.”

SSAFA is the UK’s oldest military charity which provides lifelong support those currently serving, veterans and their families at the time of need.

It provides provides financial, practical and emotional support to the Armed Forces community through its network of volunteers across the UK, including the local Dundee and Angus SSAFA branch.
