Dundee United Supporters’ Foundation resumes talks with the Tannadice club over proposed cash injection

The Dundee United Supporters’ Foundation (DUSF) has resumed talks with the club over their proposed £100,000 cash injection.

Both parties have made peace six weeks after Tangerines owner Mark Ogren said he would “no longer recognise” the fan group.

Earlier this month the DUSF’s John Gibson said the organisation was open to fresh discussions with the Championship title winners.

Yesterday the Tannadice club said: “Dundee United are pleased to announce that the club has resumed working with the Dundee United Supporters’ Foundation.

“It became clear to both parties that there had been a genuine misunderstanding on previous communications and the club and foundation are once again working together in order to develop a proposal that can be considered by foundation members.”

Mal Brannigan – the United chief who had been in talks with the DUSF – left his post as managing director on May 1.
