Dozens of Dundee United fans queued overnight outside Tannadice to get their tickets for the now-sold out AZ Alkmaar away leg in the Netherlands.
The Tangerines were allocated 1,300 tickets for next Thursday’s Europa Conference League third qualifying round second leg against AZ.
Loyalty period season ticket holders and season ticket holders who pay yearly in advance were able to purchase their ticket in-store at Tannadice or via phone from 10am on Friday.
Briefs for the match sold out in less than three hours, with the club thanking fans for their “incredible support and patience”.
Some eager fans had been waiting since Thursday afternoon, hours before the home game kicked off.
Kieran Sangster, 21, has been at the front of the queue since the final whistle was blown to mark the memorable 1-0 victory.

He said: “I was here at 12.30pm yesterday afternoon.
“I knew folk were going to queue up as soon as it was announced so made sure we got there ahead of everyone else.
“When the game was on my girlfriend kept our space so we could watch the match.
“I’ve been here since full time.”
‘I’d already booked my flights’
Steve McNally from Coldside began queuing at around 11.40pm last night.
He said: “I’d already booked my flights and hotel after AZ went through in the last round.
“When I came out of ground last night, I saw people queuing.”
He added: “There were around 60 people there already.
“I immediately decided to go home, get extra clothes and snacks and come back to queue overnight.
“This is my first ever away Euro game to see United since supporting them.”
‘I’ve not seen Tannadice with that amazing atmosphere in a while’
The 53-year-old hailed the atmosphere last night in the stadium and amongst the fans queuing overnight for tickets.
He said: “The performance was incredible, especially the second half. I’ve not seen Tannadice with that amazing atmosphere in a while.
“There’s been great chat throughout the night in the queue.
“Sharing of stories, what they’re going to do in Amsterdam.
“One girl, Louise, got us hot pies from Nicoll’s Rosebank Bakery at 7am this morning.”
Anish Tewari, 23, stood in the middle of the queue and expected more fans to show up after last night’s result.

He said: “My friend started queuing at 4.30pm.
“Another queued during the game and I’ve been here since the game.
“I think the fact we got the result last night will have made more people want to travel next week.
“I booked tickets before Alkmaar qualified.
“I thought they’d be too strong for Tuzla City. I can’t wait to get there, even to be there for the occasion.”
