Cammy Smith’s loan to Dundee United has been officially ended.
The Aberdeen attacker has now been farmed out to fellow Championship club St Mirren for the rest of the season.
Buddies manager Jack Ross said: “It’s a brilliant acquisition for us. Cammy is a really good player and someone I didn’t think we’d be able to get because he was at Dundee United. He’s a good, mature boy and I think he’ll be a good fit and gives us another option in the attacking area.”
Smith had struggled to get a place in United’s side in recent weeks after making a promising start to his time at Tannadice.
He scored five goals in 22 appearances.
