Said Hamulic’s loan switch to Dundee United is hanging in the balance.
Courier Sport revealed on Saturday evening that the Bosnia international striker was among Jim Goodwin’s top transfer targets, with talks at an advanced stage.
With the 24-year-old currently out of favour with Ligue 1 side Toulouse, United believed they were close to an agreement that would see him spend the coming season at Tannadice.
He even touched down in London on Sunday evening, with the next leg of his journey slated to take him to Scotland.

However, the Daily Record reports that Hamulic was told to make a U-turn and head home without completing the deal.
Although talks are still considered to be alive, Goodwin and United chiefs now face a nervous wait for clarity – and to ascertain whether their move for the former Widzew Lodz, Lokomotiv Moscow and Vitesse Arnhem man can be rekindled.Â
