Former Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara leaves York City

Former Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara has left his role as chief executive of York City with immediate effect.

The 44-year-old initially took over as manager at the English club in November, 2015 shortly after being sacked as Tannadice boss.

McNamara then became CEO role at Bootham Crescent but has now departed along with chairman Jason McGill.
