Dundee United’s transfer deadline day ended with the 11th-hour departure of defender Tam Scobbie to Championship rivals Partick Thistle on loan until January.
Scobbie (30) joined the Tangerines from St Johnstone in the summer of 2017 and made 24 appearances for the club after being dogged by injury.
However, he was told at the end of last season that he was free to find another team and that has turned out to be the Jags, at least in the short term.
