Raith Rovers have announced the list of players currently in and out of contract at the club.

Crucially, unlike recent seasons, the club have not formally intimated who is leaving as boss Gary Locke is still in talks with some of the players whose deals have run out such as Rory McKeown.

However, the likes of James Craigen, who has signed for Falkirk, and Ryan McCord, who will be playing for Arbroath next season, are definitely away while loan players such as Rangers’ Ryan Hardie have all returned to their parent clubs.

The manager said: “We are still speaking to one or two of the players who are out of contract like Rory.

“I have spoken to him and his agent but he is weighing up his options at the moment as he is fully entitled to do.

“If he does get something else then he will leave with our best wishes and we will look elsewhere.

“We are also working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring one or two other players in, as well as firming up all our pre-season plans.”

The full list of players at Stark’s Park in contract is as follows: Bobby Barr (new arrival); Craig Barr; David Bates; Kyle Benedictus; James Berry (Apprentice); Ross Callachan; Jonny Court; Kevin Cuthbert; Iain Davidson; Ross Matthews; David McGurn; David McKay (A); Scott Robertson; Ryan Stevenson (A); Mark Stewart; Jason Thomson; Lewis Toshney; Lewis Vaughan.

Presently out of contract: Grant Anderson; Kieran Campbell; Aidan Connolly; James Craigen; Laurie Ellis; Elliot Ford; Ryan Hardie (Loan); Ross Laidlaw; Scott Law; Louis Longridge (loan); Ryan McCord; Rory McKeown; Harry Panayiotou (Loan); Darren Petrie.
