Forfar boss Jim Weir has called on his players to make their voices heard.
It is second bottom v bottom at Station Park this afternoon and Weir needs his team to stand up and be counted against Queen’s Park.
“We can be a very quiet side,” he said. “I need organisers on the pitch – players who will put demands on their team-mates and the people beside them.
“I had a few choice words after the Stranraer game – some would say harsh – and I’m looking for a reaction.”
Weir has his weekly injury problems to contend with and the January transfer window can’t come quickly enough.
Michael Kennedy will be out for the season because of a cruciate knee ligament injury. There are several others out long-term and Darren Whyte is also a doubt.
Mark Millar should be available, though, and Eddie Malone returns from suspension.
The importance of today’s match can’t be overstated.
Weir said: “Queen’s Park have had some good results recently. They have improved.
“Saturday was another game where we were the better team in the first half but we need to keep that going for 90 minutes.
“The fans understand the situation we’re in and the players have to show how much it means to them.”
