Cowdenbeath manager Gary Bollan is looking for his side to maintain their impressive form at Central Park when Albion Rovers come calling.
The Blue Brazil dug themselves deeper into third place last weekend with a 3-1 home success over Annan.
Bollan wants to see the same attacking verve against the Coatbridge side.
He said: “We have put together a really good run at home.
“We are in a good rhythm at Central Park, having won eight of our 10 games there and we will look to keep that going.
“We are carrying more of a goal threat than we did earlier in the season and that is good news ahead of facing Albion Rovers. Our games against them are always difficult and this one will be no different as they will be hurt after losing at home to Stirling last Saturday.”
“They will see this game as a chance to bounce back so we have to be on our guard.”
Bollan added: “We put on a really good first-half display against Annan and scored three good goals. The second half was a bit different as we had something to hold on to but the way we attacked in the opening 45 minutes was terrific and showed the threat that we possess.”
The manager has a selection dilemma of the right kind to solve before kick-off, saying: “I had to change the team I had picked for Annan due to illness with Craig Barr, Chris Hamilton and Graham Taylor dropping out and the boys that came in did terrifically well. Craig, Chris and Graham are all back so I have decisions to make.
“If we can win then we keep ourselves tucked in behind the top two and open up a bigger gap on at a team that sits below us. I am not going to say that we are going to do this or do that but the more games we win the better our season will be.”
Connor Smith’s loan period from Hearts has ended and the midfielder has returned to Tynecastle with Kris Renton remaining out with a cheekbone injury.
