Cowdenbeath continue their search for the result that will kick-start their season when they entertain a Stirling Albion side they lost 1-0 to just 10 days ago.
Central Park manager Gary Bollan remains optimistic that the Blue Brazil can get off bottom spot in League Two, however he recognises that they have to start winning soon.
He said: “We lost to Stirling recently but we do not need to feel intimidated in any way when we face them again.
“We had them pinned back for long periods of that game at their place and created chances, however we were unable to get a goal.
“We are an improving side and the new players we brought in have settled well, which is all good news, however I would easily settle for a lucky 1-0 win where we have played badly but won in an ugly way as opposed to another unlucky defeat.
“We need points on board.”
A first win in six months was snatched away from Cowdenbeath at Annan last weekend when the hosts hit back in a 1-1 draw however Bollan believes that the performance was another step forward from his side.
He said: “It was a reasonable performance down at Galabank however when you have not won a game in a while it is disappointing to lose a lead at any time
“The players deserve credit for their creativity and spirit as well as passing the ball to a high standard. Normally a point from an away trip down there would be considered a decent result but in our situation we have to view it as two points dropped.
“However we will move on and look to get that win against Stirling.”
Former Fifer Bryan Gilfillan could be involved for a second game as a trialist but Fraser Mullen and Jamie Pyper are banned.
