On-loan St Johnstone defender Keith Watson faces anxious wait after knee scare

St Johnstone defender Keith Watson may have suffered yet another injury set-back on loan at Hartlepool United.
The former Dundee United man has been in excellent form at centre-back but was taken off towards the end of Saturday afternoon’s 2-1 win at Leyton Orient.
And Watson, on loan from Saints until January, now has an anxious 48-hour wait before the extent of the damage to his knee becomes clear.
“It is one of them things,” said Hartlepool manager Craig Harrison to the Hartlepool Mail.
“We will have to wait and see. Over the next few days we will know more.
“The medical staff will assess it and we hope it is not a bad one because he has been immense for us since he has come in.”
