After three months off the road undergoing a refit, Fife’s unique mobile museum is back.
MAC, as it is now widely known, has opened its doors for the first time since the refurbishment and is playing host to a new exhibition called A Cabinet of Curiosities.
The show contains a bizarre mixture of things ranging from a whale’s ear to a Zulu spear which tell stories about Fife’s past and its people.
MAC was invited to the Active Schools Community Fun Day at Kirkcaldy High School to help provide something different for families and children of all ages to enjoy alongside all the sporting and healthy living activities.
The day was a huge success with children taking advantage of the climbing wall, gaming tent, and trying out a range of activities including gymnastics, basketball, bowling and golf.
Community groups who want to bring an extra dimension to their events over the summer, or schools wanting to book up for the autumn term, should contact Janet Klak on 08451 555 555 extension 472 779 or email janet.klak@fife.gov.uk.
