Abarth, the sporting arm of Fiat, has two new numbers coming up this month.
Costing £16,500, the Punto Evo Abarth comes with a 165 bhp version of Fiat’s 1.4 litre turbo-charged petrol MultiAir engine.
It has a top speed of 132mph and a 0-62mph time of 7.9 seconds, which while not enough to win any hot hatch drag races is a turn of speed that should satisfy most owners.
Joining it is an Abarth version of the 500C convertible, which starts at £17,500.
It gets a 140bhp version of the 1.4 turbo, and will do 0-62mph in 8.1 seconds with a top speed of 127mph.
The Punto returns 47mpg, with the less aerodynamic convertible giving 43 miles for every gallon.
