That, there, was the sound of the hoot-o-meter o’ fun, sounding the start of this teaser of Tuesday’s Courier.

And that was the sound of amardy dog, urging her owners to get out of the gallery in which they were browsing in order to return to the car in which she is sitting.
The stroppy pooch felt the best way to catch their attention was clamber into the driver’s seat and use the car horn. Job done and internet sensation created.
HONK HONK!
That was the distinctive cry of a pair of loved-up swans which met in near-tragic circumstances he was covered in oil and she was hooked before romance blossomed.
Love has lifted them up from a rescue centre to the banks of Loch Lomond where they are set to be eternally and blissfully happy together.
HONK DE-RE HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HOOONK.
The familiar strains of a bugle, ringing out the Reveille. It may, possibly, be sounded to welcome the troops of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards to Leuchars from their current base in Bad Fallingbostel.
