The mother of convicted killer Luke Mitchell has released a video of herself apparently passing a lie detector test.
Corinne Mitchell says the video, posted on YouTube, supports her claim that her son was at home with her when his 14-year-old girlfriend Jodi Jones was murdered.
Earlier this month there was controversy when a video showing Luke Mitchell taking a lie detector test behind bars was made public.
Mrs Mitchell said: “Luke and I were desperate to have lie detector tests from day one. Hopefully my video will ram home the message that my son was wrongly convicted.”
Jodi was found in woodland near her home in Dalkeith in 2003. Her throat had been slashed and her body mutilated.
