A football fan was caught with cocaine at a Scottish Premiership match at Dens Park. Mark McKaig was searched by police officers during Dundee’s clash with Aberdeen on March 21. They found McKaig who has a previous conviction for possessing cocaine with intent to supply with 5.6 grams of the class A drug. Depute fiscal Jim Eodonable told Dundee Sheriff Court it had a value of around £50. McKaig, 31, of Brook Court in Dundee, pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing cocaine at the stadium on March 21. Sheriff Alistair Brown deferred sentence for social work background reports and McKaig’s personal appearance until next month.
