A gala day held in the city centre on Saturday raised £5,000 for charities. Stalls were operated by 35 different charities which benefited from 100% of the takings from the event, which was organised by Dundee Rotary Club. There was also entertainment provided by performers from Menzieshill High School, St Johns RC High School, Dundee High School and Morgan Academy.
