A teenage girl was taken to hospital after a fight broke out among 30 people outside a pub in Dundee.
A dozen police officers had to be called to deal with the incident in the car park at Ferrari’s at the weekend.
The attack on the girl was described as a minor assault.
Barmaid Eleanor Smith said: “It was all going on in the street to the side of the bar. There were so many police I saw at least six cars.”
A resident said: “We heard loud noises about midnight on Saturday night. It was like a riot. There was shouting and screaming.”
She added there had been a similar incident in the area a few weeks ago.
Inspector Douglas Faulkner said: “There is an assault getting looked at and inquiries are ongoing. Police have been in the area doing door-to-door interviews.”
