A Dundee mother says she is petrified of being alone in her home after thieves broke in and stole thousands of pounds worth of goods while the family were out celebrating their grandchild’s birthday.
Irene Reilly, 55, and husband George, 62, from Fintry, lost a black laptop, Samsung digital camera, a video camera, mobile phone and jewellery.
The break-in happened between 5pm and 8pm on Thursday last week in Finavon Terrace.
Irene said the most upsetting thing was losing the photographs of her grandchildren, which were stored on the laptop.
