Police in Kinghorn have vowed to crack down on a group of anti-social youths. Youngsters have been causing a disturbance in streets in the town’s west end, with several complaints made by residents. Multiple streets have been affected and police have responded with increased foot patrols plus a CCTV van. Static cameras have also been used in an effort to deter or identify those responsible. As inquiries continue, community PC Ross Masterton has asked parents to play their part in helping police with their work. “Inquiries reveal that a small group of youths from Kinghorn is involved,” he said. “I would like to pass on the message to the group that the behaviour will not be tolerated and robust action will be taken. “I would also urge parents to speak to their children to encourage good citizenship.” Anybody who has information regarding the activity is asked to call police on 101 or contact the community team on Twitter at @Kirkcaldypolice.
