East Neuk man drove while more than seven times drink limit

A 68-year-old Fife man has appeared in court after being caught drink-driving at more than seven times the legal limit.
Toni Saulite, of Forth Street, St Monans, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Saulite, a first offender, admitted driving on July 16 on the B981 at Cardenden and other roads in Fife having consumed excess alcohol.
His reading was 155 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 22 microgrammes.
Sheriff Chris Shead imposed a community payback order with 12 months supervision, 160 hours of unpaid work and disqualified him from driving for 30 months.
He also ordered forfeiture of the vehicle.
