US cosmetics store Bobbi Brown opening in St Andrews

American cosmetics label Bobbi Brown is to launch its first Scottish stand-alone boutique in St Andrews.

The shop is at at 8-12 Bell Street and its arrival comes just six months after the launch of Estee Lauder stablemate Jo Malone’s perfume store in the unit next door.

Property agent Stewart Irwin said: “I am sure fans of the beauty brand will come flocking from across Scotland.

“St Andrews has become a magnet for upmarket brands in recent years thanks in part to the ‘Kate and William effect’ and the town’s increasing prominence as a university and tourist town.”
