The conditions also forced the Forth Estuary Transport Authority to close the Forth Road Bridge to all traffic other than cars. The Friarton Bridge at Perth was also closed to high-sided vehicles. Gusts of up to 80mph were reported. The Tay bridge reopened to cars shortly after 5pm. You can find updates attrafficscotland.org
