Teenagers treated in hospital after Kirkcaldy house fire

Two teenage boys made a dramatic escape after fire ripped through a Kirkcaldy house this morning.

The two boys received hospital treatment after fleeing the two-storey home on Benarty Street shortly after 4am.

The pair received precautionary treatment at the Victoria Hospital for smoke inhalation after raising the alarm with neighbours.

Fire and police personnel remained on site this morning as an investigation into the blaze gets under way.
