The thrill of the chase has been captured in a racy new calendar.

Fife Foxhounds are giving supporters the chance to gain 12 months of full exposure to all things hunting, with riding boots on, but saddles off!

The foxy calendar has been released to raise money for the hunt, with masters, subscribers, hunt staff, grooms, farriers, terrier men, huntsmen and others all involved.

The Countess of Lindsay, one of Fife Foxhounds’ four joint Masters who appears throughout June 2014, said: “The calendar has created a brilliant opportunity to showcase the huge range of personalities involved with the Hunt.

“Some people have reservations about fox hunting but, in reality, as this calendar shows, participation is based on kinsmanship and community more than anything.

“We are extremely proud of our heritage but we know that we must move with the times to raise awareness of what we do. It was the most amusing experience for all involved and we just hope that it will entertain others throughout 2014.”

Established in 1786, Fife Foxhounds is one of the oldest and most prestigious hunts in the UK.

To order a copy of the calendar send a cheque made payable to Fife Foxhounds for £11.30 (£10 plus £1.30 P&P) to Mrs Judy Bruce at Balmyle, Meigle, Perthshire PH12 8QU.
