A lorry caught fire on the A90 north of Forfar this morning after one of its wheels blew out.
Traffic was held up for around half an hour at Finavon after the driver managed to steer the vehicle off the northbound side of the busy dual carriageway near the A926 Forfar – B957 Tannadice.
The incident was reported at around 7.19am and one lane was closed while emergency crews dealt with the situation.
Fire Scotland extinguished the fire and the incident was cleared shortly after.
There were no injuries and the lane was reopened by 8.30am.
