Arbroath may be the next Angus town to build on the success of the men’s shed spread across the globe.
With their origins in Australia, men’s shed groups have been established closer to home in Carnoustie, Forfar and Monifieth.
The idea is to bring together men of all ages and backgrounds who have a skill or a hankering for making, repairing or tinkering with small projects, while at the same time socialising with others of a similar mind.
Benefits include learning and sharing skills, making things, and enjoying the help and support of peers and friends.
