
A man and his two young sons have been treated for smoke inhalation following a fire in Angus.
Emergency services rushed to the High Street in Brechin following reports of a blaze in a kitchen.
Two fire engines from Brechin and Montrose attended following the call out at 5.30pm on Thursday.
The occupants were treated outside by paramedics.
One engine remained outside the first-floor property into the evening, helping to ventilate the upstairs flat and guarding against secondary fires.
