The search is continuing for an Arbroath man who has not been seen for more than a week.
Scott Watson vanished on June 4 after a family matter but failed to return home, leaving wife Tracey desperate for news.
Mrs Watson, who like her husband is 35, said neither she nor any of her husband’s family had received any news of the qualified joiner, who is originally from Portsmouth.
She added, “His phone is switched off. I have already texted him telling him to go to a police station or get in touch with someone so we know he is OK.
“We are worried about his wellbeing, worried he would do something stupid basically worried for his life.”
The couple married in January and have five-year-old and three-year-old sons.
Mrs Watson continued, “The police said CCTV footage showed him in Perth on Saturday going into a hostel but he’s not been seen since.”
Mr Watson is 5ft 11in. He was wearing a blue and white Tommy Hilfiger jacket, a light T-shirt and three-quarter-length denim jeans. He has a bald patch on the back of his head.
Anyone with information can call the police on 0300 111 2222.
