Council officers completed the eviction of a Dundee couple accused of dealing drugs from their flat yesterday morning.
Last year The Courier revealed how drugs were being sold openly from the living room window of a ground-floor flat in Menzieshill.
Yesterday, after a decree of eviction had been obtained from Dundee Sheriff Court, officers were able to officially evict Lee Gray (33) and Donna Ritchie (30) from the flat they shared.
Gray was not there during the eviction and Ms Ritchie sought refuge in a neighbour’s flat after the officers secured her flat.
Residents in the street said there had been less obvious drug activity at the flat since The Courier expose which led to a police raid in autumn last year.
Several watched from windows as council officers entered the building.
