The gig will take place at Bellahouston Park on Saturday August 29. Completing the line-up are Soak and Tuff Love. The concert is part of Glasgow Summer Sessions organised by DF Concerts, the company behind T in the Park. It is a rare chance for Scottish music fans to see Grace Jones, whose hits include Pull Up to the Bumper and Slave to the Rhythm. As well as her music, she is also a renowned model and actress and appeared as Bond girl May Day in the Roger Moore 007 film AView to a Kill. Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding and John Newman will play Glasgow Summer Sessions the next day. Geoff Ellis,chief executive of DF Concerts described Jones as an “international music icon”.
