A repeat of a rooftop drama saw two people scrambling across the slates of a tall building in Dundee city centre to have a picnic.
The pair were perched almost 50ft up on the top of flats on Tay Square.
Photos showed them enjoying the sunshine on the end of a terrace next to Dundee Rep, the second time in a month onlookers were alarmed by aerial antics on the square.
The pair previously took a blanket on to the same rooftop, but were forced to retreat due to high winds. One onlooker said that the daring diners could have been killed if they had slipped.
He said: “I saw two young people climbing about on the window ledge of their flat then on to the slates above the window. They sat and had their lunch and then did some sunbathing.
“The roof is higher than the Rep. If you fell you’d be really badly hurt or even dead. It’s probably not the best place to eat your lunch.
“They were passing plates to each other through the window and then back in afterwards. There were people walking below and if they’d dropped something, someone could have been knocked unconscious or seriously hurt.”
The man who took to the roof last week said: “We don’t want to comment on the roof bathing. I enjoyed the attention, but the last story had pretty negative repercussions with the landlords.”
The high jinks previously came under fire from local authority figures, and West End Community Council leader Andrew McBride was unimpressed with the latest sighting.
He said: “They’re taking al fresco dining to a whole new level. It was ludicrous and unacceptable.
“They might be OK about putting their own lives at risk, but they should really be thinking about other people. It would only take one slip of the foot.”
Last month, West End councillor Richard McCready said: “Even if people are doing things themselves and think they’re not harming anybody, if they get into difficulty they would be putting other people at risk.”
