Generous Dundonians dug deep on Sunday to aid the ongoing relief effort in Japan.
Local Japanese family group the Marmalade Club spent much of the afternoon selling home-made cakes and origami artwork to shoppers passing the Caird Hall.
The volunteers managed to raise £600, which will go to the Embassy of Japan, via the Red Cross, to help victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami.
In the past three weeks a number of charity events for Japan have been held in the city, raising around £3000.
Anyone who wishes to donate to the Japan Tsunami Appeal can do so by visiting the British Red Cross website at www.redcross.org.uk/japantsunami
