Police descended on a Dundee street after receiving reports of a “half-naked woman” in distress.
Officers were called to Balunie Terrace in Douglas around 11pm on Sunday.
The street was cordoned off while officers carried out inquiries.
Eyewitnesses said they counted four police vans in the area while one resident said they saw a half-naked woman and clothing on the street.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said they had attended the street after reports from residents in the area of a disturbance but after inquiries were carried out no action was required.
