Police have asked for the public’s help to trace whoever is responsible for a spate of graffiti in and around St Andrews.
North Fife officers said there had been fresh graffiti at the St Andrews East Sands where incidents had previously been reported.
Further incidents have also been reported at a number of locations between St Andrews, Guardbridge and Tentsmuir Forest.
A spokesman was unable to say whether the same tagger was responsible.
The latest appeal comes just months after concerns were raised by the chairman of St Andrews Community Council, Howard Greenwell.
He raised concerns about a large area of graffiti on the seawall at the East Sands and Castle Sands.
He drew attention to vandalism on the seawall near the East Sands Leisure Centre and below St Andrews University’s Gatty Marine Laboratory.
There was more at the Castle Sands at the foot of the castle wall.
Graffiti can be reported at local council offices, by calling the graffiti removal line on 08451 55 00 22 or emailing graffiti.action@fife.gov.uk.
