Police are attempting to trace two men who were spotted acting unusually on Saturday.
The occupants of the red Ford Fiesta were reported to be acting suspiciously on or near the bridge that spans the M90 motorway at Inverkeithing at around 10pm.
The vehicle stopped and the occupants engaged pedestrians in conversation before it drove off towards Rosyth.
The male driver of the vehicle is described as having dark hair and sideburns and is possibly of eastern European origin. The passenger was a white male with short brown hair.
Officers are now keen to hear from anyone with information that can assist them with their inquiries by calling 101.
