
A dog walker was left shaken after a masked man tried to rob him in Dunfermline.
The disturbing attempted robbery took place at around 7pm on Sunday at Fife College’s Halbeath Campus.
Inspector Ian Flynn of Dunfermline Police Station said: “Luckily the dog walker was not hurt but he was understandably distressed by this incident.”
Police are looking for a man described as being about 6ft and who was wearing dark clothing and a balaclava at the time of the incident. The suspect is thought to have a facial injury.
