
A Fife man made a private appearance at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday following an alleged stabbing in Methilhill at the weekend.
Paul Cussick (37), whose address was given as Methil, was charged with attempted murder and also faced three charges of assault.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody pending a second appearance within eight days.
A 57-year-old man was taken to hospital with back injuries after the incident in Kirke Park on Saturday night.
