Two men have been accused of assault in a car park at last year’s Ryder Cup.
Steve Lawrence 47, of Bogside Road, Blairgowrie, and Harry Lawrence, 51, of Moncrieff Way, Cupar, are accused of punching the man on the head at Car Park 2, Ryder Cup, Orchil Road, Auchterarder, on September 25 last year.
Steve Lawrence was also accused of threatening the man with violence, while Harry Lawrence was charged with kicking a second man on the body in the car park.
Both men pleaded not guilty and an intermediate diet was set for July 23, with a trial scheduled to take place in August.
