Perthshire house prices rise as sales figures fall

House prices in Perthshire have gone up ovwer the first part of the year.
Perthshire property sellers have revealed mixed market results for the first half of 2015.
Figures released by the Perthshire Solicitors Property Centre (PSPC) show that member firms have sold 393 properties in the last six months, totalling more than £70 million. The average house sold for £178,238.
PSPC manager Anne Begg said: “There are improvements in some areas and slight dips in others. During the first half of 2014, PSPC members sold just over £78m worth of homes, but theaverage property is selling for more this time round.
“Indeed, without exception, the average property has achieved more each month than its 2014 equivalent.”
