Three taken to hospital for checks after accident on A90 near Errol

A man, woman and baby were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee today after a car and lorry collided on the A90 Dundee to Perth road near Errol.

The accident happened at around 11.15am on the westbound carriageway and involved an Audi and a lorry.

The trio were taken for checks but it is not thought they were seriously hurt.

Police Scotland asked motorists to approach the scene with caution and expect some delays.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they were not needed to attend the accident but the recovery of the vehicles caused significant delays to motorists, with tailbacks stretching back several miles.
