Three Courier Country sites have been chosen as “Coronation meadows.”
Balchroich Meadow at Keltneyburn in Highland Perthshire, Fleecefaulds Meadow at Cupar and Bonnyfield at Bonnybridge have been selected.
They are three of 60 meadows picked out as part of the scheme launched by the Prince of Wales as part of the coronation celebrations.
The project is an effort to conserve flower-rich grasslands across the UK. The UK has lost 97% of its wild-flower meadows since the 1930s, according to a report by charity Plantlife.
