Accused ordered to compensate woman she attacked for sleeping with her boyfriend

A Dundee woman has been ordered to pay compensation to the mistress she caught naked with her cheating boyfriend.

Perth Sheriff Court heard that PC Scott McGregor, 26, and partner Lisa Baird, 28, were attacked at home in Perth by raging Kirsten Fullerton.

Fullerton, 23, of Hawthorn Grove, was found guilty after a trial.

Ms Baird told the trial that Fullerton grabbed her by the hair after barging into the bedroom at 4am as McGregor tried to keep her out.

The police officer tried to drag Fullerton off but they fell over and all three ended up brawling on the bed.

Sheriff Lindsay Foulis told Fullerton he was not impressed with her evidence when she took the stand to claim that she did not know Ms Baird was in the house.

Fullerton was fined £450 for assaulting Ms Baird.

She was also ordered to pay Ms Baird £250 compensation.

Fullerton was also found guilty of assaulting Mr McGregor by biting him on the body and struggling with him, and of damaging property by forcing open a door.

She was admonished on both charges.
